Garden Plant CrownHow the date palm's crown is drawn where the fronds meet the trunk. Heart colour The gold and brown in the heart of the crown (with the shadowed heart). Leaflets The date palm's leaflets: fewer and broader, drawn like the vine's leaves (0), to many and fine, true to life (1). Palm growth Minutes for the date palm to grow from the sapling a visit starts with to full size. Position Where the plant stands, left to right (the date palm lands within a little of it, different each visit). It is planted again where you set it. Title Line beneath Title size Letter spacing Added on top of the font's own kerning, as a share of the type size. Word spacing Title and plant Title strength How strongly the title shows over the plant, when it is overprinted or in front. Glow Warm light behind the plants, stronger as the garden fills in. Vignette The page darkening toward its edges. Air How strongly moving the pointer through the garden stirs it. Wind delay How long a gust takes to reach the plants after the pointer moves.

Glass Lift How high the bottom edge rises. Thickness How thick the glass is. Thicker glass shifts what's beneath further where it bends. Reach How far back from the edge the bend begins, as a share of the screen. Gradient How the bend gathers toward the edge. Low is an even, gentle arc; high stays nearly flat, then rolls up near the edge. Edge round How far back the polished edge rounds off, in thicknesses. Tighter rounds bend and split the light harder. Splitting How far apart the colors of the light land. 1 is dense crystal glass; 2.2 is rutile, the most color-splitting crystal found in nature. Sunlight How much of the light is sunlight, which the glass can gather and split, rather than the room's soft light. Sun angle How far the sun is from straight overhead. The light the page casts lands further away the higher the page is.

Page Lean How far the rising edge leans, so one corner leads. Turn length Theme
